Introducing Studio Howlett: A Closer Look at Our Rebrand

After months of behind-the-scenes work, we’re thrilled to share our brand reveal and new name. What began years ago as a small blog we kept while working in architecture and interiors has gradually grown into the design practice we have today. Those early posts were a way for us to document renovation projects, material experiments, and the overlap in how we each approached design.

Over time, that small creative outlet evolved into a steady stream of projects — and eventually into a full studio. As our work expanded, we realized it was time for a name that felt aligned with where we’re headed: Studio Howlett.

BRAND REVEAL

Our new visual identity, created with Studio at Cana, reflects the way we think and work.

The palette draws from the natural materials, finishes, and tones we’re consistently drawn to; the typography balances structure with softness; and the system as a whole brings more clarity, rhythm, and cohesiveness to how we present our projects. It still feels familiar to those who’ve followed our renovation-focused beginnings, while giving us the room to speak to a wider audience.

Today, we collaborate with homeowners, small businesses, creative entrepreneurs, and boutique commercial clients — people who value thoughtful design and want a strong connection between architecture, interiors, and landscape.

Our new identity was shaped with this wider audience in mind: approachable, clear, and rooted in the materials and atmospheres that guide our work. It gives us a visual language that resonates whether someone is renovating a home, planning a storefront, or shaping a site.

A NEW CHAPTER

We’re deeply grateful for everyone who has supported and encouraged us along the way. This milestone feels both like a culmination and a beginning — a chance to honor where we started while stepping confidently into what’s ahead.

We’re energized by this new chapter, and we can’t wait to keep imagining, shaping, and building meaningful spaces with you as Studio Howlett.
