Historic Hill House

ARCHITECTURAL RENOVATION
INTERIOR DESIGN
CUSTOM MILLWORK & FURNISHINGS

On a tree-lined street in Richmond’s Oregon Hill neighborhood, this 1910 rowhouse was reimagined to feel soft, layered, and deeply personal. The goal: to create a home that feels grounded in its history while quietly evolving for the way its family lives today.

Original details set the tone—plaster walls, heart pine floors, and tall windows—while new color, texture, and light bring a sense of calm and continuity. A reworked kitchen, dining, and living space now flow together with gentle curves, custom millwork, and hand-finished materials that balance simplicity and warmth.

Upstairs, shades of green and peach add a subtle rhythm between rooms, wrapping each space in a calm, tactile palette. The result is a home that feels familiar yet renewed — full of texture, color, and connection.
